Factory Keyless?

Question for you guys and gals. We just purchased our 2002 Jeep Liberty Sport today. Im curious did ALL models of the Jeep Liberty come with Keyless Entry or just certain models? It has power locks and everything I'd be amazed if it didn't have remote Keyless. To make a long story short we didn't get the transmitter. Is there a way to run the VIN to determine if it has Keyless before I go spend $120 for Remote Start and Keyless?

Send them a message with your VIN and request a Build Sheet. They will know what to do and respond to you Monday with a list of everything your vehicle is equipped with from the factory.

Next question - Do you know how much the transmittors would be in the event we need to purchse them?

They're on eBay for 10 bucks all the time. Prior to 05 you're in luck because the keyless entry was a separate fob and could easily be sold off used and reused for another Liberty. My 06 is integrated into the key, so once it was cut for my car, it is not going to be of any use to someone if I were to try to sell it. Basically, you can get one dirt cheap since it is on its second life.

Hey having it integrated to the key would be awesome but Im thinking it makes the key twice as expensive ;-)

I have so many questions about this jeep I don't know where to start ;-) So many things to learn.

I know this is unrelated to this topic/forum but are these tires supposed to be at 32 PSI or more?

You do have an Owner's Manual for stuff like that. It's also on the door sticker.

Owners manual is MIA We bought it used.

Also - Is there a link for factory OEM equipment ? Need to purchase a few things that I doubt aftermarket would carry - IE ashtry - Upper rails on the top of the car etc..
