I just want to extend a sincere thank you to the folks who gave me feed back on Firestone Destination AT Tires. I just bought 4 for my 02 Liberty today and with 20" of snow, they performed wonderfully. Now, if I could just magically install a 2 inch lift kit, it would look awesome. Tomorrow, they'll be tested again since the snow is still coming down. This is a great site.

I just got a pretty fair price on some at the shop up the road. What size did you go with? How 'bout an action/snow picture?

I'm very happy that you are enjoying those tires. The Destination A/T's are by far, some of the best all around tires out there.

Down in the review section, on this board, there is a review of these tires that includes my update after 30K miles of use. It should give you an idea of what to expect with them. Currently, I'm coming up on 40K miles traveled with these tires and they are still going strong. Only issue today is the outer tread blocks are dropping quicky... Pretty soon, I'll have a continous outer treadblock. I will be trying to eek out as much mileage as I can from them and hope that they see round 45-50K miles of life.

P.S. - did you dig yourself out yet?

Gotta say I love the Firestone Destination A/T's.. I am running at almost 30K now and they still preform to top condition and look almost brand new.. they are amazing and I am running the 245/70/16's.. when I get my new Tacoma that's all I will be running is Firestone Destination A/Ts.. I'm glad you love them too Billy hope you find more use out of the site!

Best A/T tire money can buy IMO. Firestone hit a home run with this tire. I absolutely love them! Incredible traction and handling.

Sleeve,ROF,LBL,GM,

I appreciate your feedback and will check out the reviews. The Blizzard is over and people are pretty much dug out although there still are lots of secondary roads that are just made for 4 wheelin.

I actually didn't have too much diging out to do since I was out in it most of the time. I never once felt like I was getting stuck anywhere. It snowed so hard (3 inches per hour at times) that I had to pull over to clean my windshield. Most of central Maryland received about 20 inches but our area (near Annapolis) averaged about 24 inches with drifts of 3 to 4 feet.

Today was the first day I drove the ATs on dry pavement and they were quiet. They also felt very stable on wet stuff as well.

In a week or 2, I'll take the Liberty to the mountains and see how they perform there. Got any tips on how I send photos. Never done this before so I'll appreciate any advice.

Y'all take care and thanks again.
