EDIT 2/25/10: THEY ARE ON THE TRUCK ON THE WAY TO MY HOUSE!!!! CALL JEGS NOW IF YOU WANT THEM FOR $311.87 SHIPPED!!!!

So, I looked at JEGS and they list both the 17505 and 17004's.

They had the 17004's at $63 each (comparable to JBA and AllJ's prices) and the 17505's at $106 ($15 more than AllJ's and $20 more than JBA).

HOWEVER - they'll price match. So, to save on shipping, I showed them JBA's price (just call and route to customer service. I directed her to the site) so I am getting those for $85 instead of $106.

Total for all 4 shipped to MI is $311.87. I think that's pretty decent!

The reason I say "hopefully" in the title is that they are a non-stock item, however, she claims that she can still get them. They have no indication that they are discontinued or unavailable.

So, we'll see what I get. Should ship in 7-10 days :D

I know, but it's worth a shot. Does Thunderbirdjunkie know something definite that I don't (such as you tried this and they are out of stock)?

No sir, but they are discontinued, and if they do not have them in stock, they probably never will again since they get them direct from Tenneco.

I am assuming the same, but hoping for the best. If I can't get them, no biggie. I'll go Bilstein or Reflex (first need to research reflex more though).

Has anyone tried them?

Just from reading they seem very similar to the Rancho's but a little softer. Supposed to be a big improvement over the Sensatrac...

...everything I read seems to indicate the Rancho's are more suited for offroad, and the Reflex are similar but slightly more road-oriented.

Not trying to say anyone's wrong, just trying to understand why these seem to be written off immediately when I haven't seen any real negatives about someone actually running them.

Softer shock is not what you want with a stiffer spring. The stiffer springs will kill those shocks muy rapido. If you want to run them on something with stock springs, they'll be ok

Ah, gotcha. Well, Bilsteins seem to be only a few $$'s more. Maybe I'll spring for those.

Just want something that will last, cause little headache, and ride nicely. I don't plan on stretching the norm with a crazy high lift. Enough to clear 245/75's is fine with me :)

Ye have little faith fellas...they are the proper Rancho's and they are sitting on my living room floor. :D

Now to decide on 926's vs 927's....hmmm....might need some beers to think ;)

I ordered the rear shocks and once I get them I will be putting my superlift shocks in the for sale forum here (which is fitting since that is where I got them a couple thousand miles ago).
