Front brake pads replacement

Hi, my mechanic said I'll need to replace front pads within 5K miles. I believe I have ABS. Should that make a difference? Is it 2 bolts on each side? I have an 02 Liberty Limited. Front disks, rear drums.

2 bolts each side, can't recall the size. try a search in the "how to" section, i'm sure there's a wright up on it.
