I've been reading around quiet a bit on the site, and I bought a OME 2927/Bilstein setup for the 07 KJ LTD.

I had a question regarding the front coils - the 2927's do not sit flush on the spring seat - the very end of the coil touches but the rest of the first coil does not. My concern is that all of the weight will be on the very tip of the coil.

I know that spring isolators are made, but all the pics I see online of the 2927 show the first coil of the spring being flat, and the other end tapering to a smaller coil.

Did I get shipped the wrong springs? I only have my Libby so I don't want to tear into it until I know I have all the parts.

I'm guessing that I re-use the stock Iso's (are there any?) BUT the springs just don't look right compared to pic on the web.

Any input is appreciated, and if you need more clarification please let me know.

Reuse stock Iso's or buy new ones. Jeepin by Al carries them. 2 per side for a total of 4.

Awesome, thanks for the input.

I really didn't want to have to ship these back.

Should be OK but do you have a pic of what they look like?
I have a couple of new 927s here in stock and can compare

Tommudd - thanks for taking a look.

I'll probably re-use the stock ISO's unless they are toast.
