Okay, I looked all through the service manual, I can't find it anywhere, and I'm just guessing it's called a handhold. The one you grab hold when you're getting into the Liberty.
There's two screws under the rubber inserts... Please, what is the screw/nut/bolt size. What do I need to remove the hand hold and access under the trim peice?

If you mean the one on the driver's A pillar I believe I used a 7/16 deep socket on my 04. Seem to remember reading some where that earlier models had screws instead

7/16, that sounds right, I thought that a 7/16 seated but just couldn't reach. Thanks. That helps a lot. And I typed in the oh #*!@ handle but for some reason, nothing came up.

Just for everyone's reference...

A 5.5 mm nutdriver will work on 05 models, too. O:) Just make sure it's skinny enough to reach all the way in there.

Finally having some time to investigate the 7/16 issue after getting a set of deep sockets, that is way off. It's 7/32 to remove the two long screws.
