Filled up my Jeep liberty 3.7 limited last night... cost me £66 (im in the UK). Im getting roughly 18mpg on a normal day. If i drive with a heavy right foot it drops to around 15/16mpg

£66 equates to $129 US dollars.... so all you lot living over the pond think yourselves lucky... $129 for a full tank of gas which will do 320km's at the most:D

To put it into perspective a tank of gas is roughly 5 times the average uk hourly wage rate. (uk average wage is £25'000)

Uk hourly wage £13 an hour x 5.07 = £66

13 an hour? that would be nice... i went to get some gas for the first time since the prices went up and i had 12 gallons at $46. its up setting because when i started driving $46 was over a full tank. i was using $20 almost every 2 weeks

$46 a tank!!

Wow that is cheap

whats the average wage over there ?

£13 an hour or £1'600 a month may sound good...
but average uk house price is £190'000, average yearly gas and electric is £1200 a year and average weekly food shop is £120.

ehh i dont know about that. a full tank for me is 6.5 times my hourly wage and i make decent money for my area...which is very sad. i couldnt imagine trying to fill up on minimum wage like alot of people have to do. I think we are all getting screwed. Dont get me started lol... (walks off mumbling...shouts "Ron Paul 08!"):):D

mmuuzzyy.....You are more heavily taxed on fuel but doesn't some of your fuel tax go to your national health care??

Also, you have a Queen and we only have a president, and everyone knows that a Queen is Royalty and needs more shoes and hats and ruffally silk underwear than a president. And our president thinks he is a cowboy and probably has only 2 cowboy hats and 1 pair of cowboy boots and a horse at home. Also, your Queen lives in a Palace and our president just gets a white house for a couple of years and then gets evicted.. The Queen gets The Palace forever. :D
