I did check to make sure the wiring was there before I bought them, the only problem is the mirror connector is 10pin while the harness is 8pin. Is there a place where I could get just the connectors to switch? I would use the normal mirror's, but I can't get the pins out. If it comes down to it, I'll just splice the new mirror wires into the old connector, but I'd rather not.

Well if what your saying is that the original harness from the car to mirror is 8 pin and new mirror is 10 then from my opinion not knowledge of these trucks is your not wired for the heating element. Maybe if I'm right someone else.can explain wiring for that. You are missing the heating element wiring

Here is the site I got my wiring info from: http://dto.vftis.com/mopar/connrevi...IEW-PASSENGER+(BASE)+-+(PASSENGER+DOOR)+8+WAY

In the door harness, there are 5 pins. 3 for movement, 2 for heat. The attached wires match the colors given on that site and there is 12v on the heater circuit when the rear defrost is on. I'm going to hit up a junkyard and try and find the correct harness or connectors and just splice it in unless I hear of anything better. I think the harness is the same one from the KJ and was changed sometime after/during 08.

The wiring is supposed to be there.
What year is your Liberty? maybe they switched it half way through the production.
Strange.

Did you purchase new or used, factory or aftermarket? Maybe you got mirrors that aren't only heated but also self-dimming or even power folding (although this option only came on export models so that isn't very likely)

Maybe your wiring is ok but not the mirrors. Is it possible they sent you the wrong ones?
Oh and I can't see the link you posted, need to sign in or something

The mirrors are available at least three ways
Power
Power, heated
Power, heated, memory
Not to mention folding, and power folding.

I found out the issue: apparently, some models have a door module that the mirror plugs into, as well as the seat/mirror memories and door harness and that's why there is a different connector. I fixed the problem anyway by popping off the old connectors and putting them on the new mirrors and they work great.
