here's why i didn't wash mine today.

Woke up and it was about 33 and cloudy.

Around lunch time, it began SNOWING.

About an hour later, temp was at 36-37 and POURING rain. Not to mention the wind has been howlin all day.

Not a good day for detailin, but nice pics!

heh, it was around 28-30 degrees when i woke up.. HEAVY frost, but it got up to around 47 and was sunny today. Tomorrow its going to get up in the 50's with sun. Im going to sweep the inside, clean the mats, and may go over the dash.. Not to sure yet. Need some shine on the tires too.

Ill probably wash and wax my moms car too. It never gets washed.. So I just run over it with the buffer when I do get a chance to wash it. It doesnt take me an hour to wash and wax it since its so small(corolla).. 8-[

Tell ya the truth....I kinda' like the dull sidewalls and polished black Cragars on mine.
The contrast between them give my KJ a better overall look, IMO.

best I can do for an example pic:

Bubbles likes to rub on them when the shine is on.. or without it too. It was getting cold quik and I didnt feel like it. Ill put some on later.. Gotta put the mud flaps back on to. Had to take them off for the L.O.S.T run I went on.

if you look really close in the side side, you can see where the mudflap wore the paint off the flares. There black under the paint.. Not gray like I thought they would be. :-s

Haha, meguiars #80 is a polish.. It has demishing abrasives and as you work it in they break down.. This product is kinda hard to get the hang of.. Ive yet to master it.. Meguairs scratch-x is a very easy product to use and work in, but it takes ALOT time since its a work-in-by-hand product..

A w-8006 pad is a Meguairs polishing pad..

A pc is a Portor Cable buffer. Its safe and will not burn the paint unless you try REALLY hard.. O:)

New scratch-x

Pads, buffers, etc

#80

Yea, that stuff is expensive..

I bought samples of #80 Here

You can find the PC other places for cheap.

Quick questions... are those fogs mounted under the bumper in that center open slot? If so, did you make the brackets? Are they available from a vendor? What kind of ofg lights are they?

Thanks,
ScottZ0
