My Renegade had been at the local Jeep dealer for over 2 weeks getting new heads put on due to a check engine light. I finally got the thing back on Tuesday...made it 20 miles and the light came back on. Dropped it back off on Wed. morning first thing and still have got no call with what the problem is. I was looking through my invoice on what they have done since it has been at the dealer. Says they had to change coil pack number 5 due to a misfire. They also changed all of the the spark plugs, and they changed the passenger side head. They told me before they started doing all the work that the number 5 coil going bad is what caused the problem in the head...which is ******** to begin with, but then they tell me that, and change the head on the other bank...wtf. They also changed coil pack number 1 and not number 5. I brought all this up to the dealer and they went back and talked to the techs, when they came back out there was a whole lot of back peddling going on...so I was a bit angry. They also broke...my drivers side mirror and replaced it. Said on the invoice it fell off and broke while closing the hood....really???...anyways...I am just venting and want my damn Jeep back. I drove a Compass Overland around for a week, which wasnt a bad car, but now they gave me a base model Caliber...I want my Renegade back. Has been in and out of the shop for over a month now.
