Help niewbe! RB3+CD changer intergration with pics

I recently upgraded my KJ with an RB3 unit and an OEM 6 disk CD changer. Fitted them both myself. It was a simple 'plug-n-play' installation, but I'm having a small problem. When playing disks from the CD changer unit, the RB3 will not display the track number, elapsed/remaning track time, or any other kind of track info. All I get, as you can see in the picture, is a "-:-" sign. Any ideas?

Fixed it!!

I first did a factory reset by pressing "NAV" + "SEEK DOWN" + "EJECT"
and then updated the software version from AA (2 disks), to AC (5 disks).
This took care of all the problems.

Cool that your figured it out on the fix. How's the sound quality?

Not bad at all considering that this is an OEM unit.
The CD Changer has only skipped track once and I was on a VERY bumpy ride.
Not very satisfied with the volume level would really like some additional amps.
