I bought one of these adapters for $6.50, it plugs into the CD Changer plug on the back of the radio. My radio doesn't see it, I press MODE, and it doesn't switch to the changer to access the AUX input on the device. It has the plug on the back of the radio, so I would assume it supports the changer. Maybe I got a defective adapter?

How do you normally access the CD changer, by pressing mode, right?

Anyone know how these things are supposed to work? The AXXESS site for support doesn't have this listed, now any install instructions, but it seems straight foward; you plug the harness into the CD changer port, and it plugged right in. It has a power LED, that doesn't come on either...

They sell on Ebay for 40.00...

Edit: 6:50p EST - I checked the manual, and my radio DOES support a changer, but this device just is not working. There is no separate fuse for the Changer is there? ANything that has to be setup on the radio to recognize a changer? I would not think so... I was going to ad a changer, but now that this thing doesn't work, I may not.

I have decided to remove the stock radio, and install another one. This one I got has a SD card, and USB memory reader for MP3s, and Aux input. I am not going to mess around with this anymore...

Was strange, when I pulled out the adapter from the CD Changer port, the radio turned on and went to CD, and the CD ejected from the unit... It also pulled right out, without pressing the retainer clip, maybe I didn't have it in all the way... The MAIN harness, I had to press the tab... SO, I need to test this adapter again later...

I installed my VR3 unit, with USB and DS card slots, NICE! ALl my music on two 4GB SD cards. The instructions say SD cards up to 2GB, but the 4GB one I put in worked.

Nice easy install with all the adapters and install kit.. Now for the LCD screen, and Xbox...
