Monk from Pittsburgh Pa. 2005 KJ Sport V6. Looking to turn it into a decent off roader for my son. Planning on 3" lift, bumper, new tires and wheels. I am getting a light bar, roof rack rails and fender flares with bolts (resemble bushelwacker) from a parted out 2003 Renegade. You guys forsee any issues fitting those onto my 05?
In regards to a bumper, I cant afford the ARB, so I'm hoping to find something cheaper for the front bumper and rear. Has anyone modified a different off road bumper (meant for a different Jeep) to fit their KJ? I can't imagine it would be THAT difficult to do.
Thanks for all the tips, I'm learning a lot and hope I can help someone else out.

Planning on 3" lift, CHECK OUT JEEPINBYAL.COM FOR LIFTS, OME 927/948 SPRINGS WILL GIVE YOU 2.5 INCHES OF LIFT AND CAN ADD TOP PLATE FOR 3 INCHES, OF COURSE THEN GETTING CLOSE TO NEEDING THE JBA UCAs AS WELL

bumper, ARB IS ABOUT IT, OTHERS HAVE TRIED MOUNTING SOME THING ELSE BUT.....
new tires and wheels.
TIRES STICK WITH 245-75-16S WITH 3 INCH LIFT, ANY MORE AND RUBBING PLUS LOTS OF POWER AND MILEAGE LOST UNLESS YOU REGEAR TO 4.10S WHICH IS A GREAT UPGRADE
I am getting a light bar, WILL WORK ON THE 05 roof rack rails and fender flares with bolts WILL NOT WORK ON THE 05, 02-04 are the same, 05-07 are the same as far as grill, front bumper, flares etc (resemble bushelwacker) from a parted out 2003 Renegade. You guys forsee any issues fitting those onto my 05? YES ABOVE ANSWERED

First welcome , all your answers are on here and LOST oh AND BUSHWACKER
Before you get too wild and crazy , take some time to read regarding lifts etc and what effect it has on overall driveability. For instance I'm running 2.5 inches of JBA coilover lift on mine with a 30.6 inch tall tire ( same height as a 245-75-16 ) with 4.10 gearing perfect overall . If questions ask, we've done a lot of lifts on KJs here

Lucky kid, 63 and still building my own! LOL
