Guess I didn't need that darn D30A anyway:D,sure makes changing the oil much easier.

Thought I'd throw this pic up also,my 4.5" front RE ZJ coils and OME 863 FJ80 rear coils came in.Also in the pic is a stock KJ strut/coil assembly and stock rear coil, what a difference:eek:.Getting closer.

So you're making the jump to SFA completely now? I'm excited to see the end result. Do you have another vehicle that allows the KJ to be out of commission for so long?

Kinda have to do the SFA now if I want 4wd back,my D30A will be shipped to Florida in a few days.As far as another vehicle I'm driving a buddies '87 Subaru, hey it's got low range option in the t-case:D,just need some 13" MT tires and I'll be set.

ms5490renegadeis their any difference between the renegade suspension and any other liberty?
No,except for the CRD's.

Looking to give those coils away tjkj? Ive got a zj that would love to have them. :)

Are you going to stay with the t-case you have now or are you going to swap in something else? I'm not sure if it's even possible but I always thought a KJ with Dana 44's front and rear with a Rock-Trac case from the Rubicon (not sure of the model designation on that), would be pretty sweet. Of course, if you do that, then you would also need to swap in a 4.7 to power it, so by the end of the day, mine isn't exactly reasonable lol.

Disclaimer: I am still learning about the mechanics of vehicles and could tell you more about an ATV than the Jeep at this point, so if my above-mentioned setup would require an act of God to work, take it easy on me, I'm learning lol.

Wow. I've heard of the Atlas II and seen what those can do on the Upper and Lower Terminator trails here in AZ. You're basically going to end up with a full blown rock-buggy from the looks of that spec sheet. Considering that the KJ is unibody and you're bound to end up in some pretty hairy situations with that setups, any plans for a rollcage or something to minimize damage in a rollover or at least stop you from being flattened?

Oh, and thanks for keeping us updated over here. I know you spend a lot of time discussing this on LOST, but since I don't make it over there often and typically feel like an idiot when I do, it's nice to see a project like this over here being done by someone willing to explain it to those of us who don't fully understand every single mechanical feature of a vehicle but would like to know. I'm not meaning to bash LOST or anything like that, just a change of mentality that I have heard people on both boards discuss.
