Hello everyone, new here.
I did a search in the Tires/wheels section and couldn't find my answer. I have an '02 Liberty. Just wondering if the Hollander 9024 wheel found on some '00-'04 Wranglers would fit my Liberty. I know the bolt pattern is right, I'm just wondering about the going from 16" to 15", if I'll clear the calipers. If they fit I'm just going to run a 235/75/15 tire to get me back to the same circumference. Thanks

I have been looking at more info on this site on wheels and tires. These wheels are the 15x8, and from what I'm seeing here, the 8" rims don't work with a stock suspension. The Liberty is my wife's daily driver, so there is no interest in a lift. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I also have found a set of 17" Jeep Compass wheels. Am I correct in thinking that as long as I go with a 235/65/17 tire my circumference would be the same and I'd have no issues?

On another site I have found the same wheel ('98 Grand Cherokee OEM #5FA15SS7 I have seen it is also called the Canyon wheel) It has the 5x4.5 bolt pattern and 7' wide. It doesn't list the backspacing. I'm guessing at 7" wide this rim would be ok, as long as my calipers are cleared. Would I be ok with 15"?

people on here will tell you that you can't go to a factory Jeep 15" wheel on your liberty, but I can tell you that I installed the factory 15" wheels from my 1998 Grand Cherokee on one of my 2002 Libertys and it cleared everything just fine.

Thank you so much for the info. I also found a place to get the '05 Liberty wheels with the gray center and machined lip. I really like them. I'll have to bring some pics up and see if my wife still likes the '98 Cherokee wheel. Thanks again.

Most all 15 inch will not clear the caliper, period, a few may but why bother going to 15 inch? Except for Soft 8s of course

Wheel size doesn't much matter to us. My wife doesn't take her Liberty off roading. She wanted it more for the security and 4 wheel drive that her Neon lacked. As I stated I could always go to the 235/75/15 and still have the same circumference as stock. We both would like to get rid of the stock steelies and get a nice set of aluminum wheels. Libertys and their parts are scarce around here. The guy at the junkyard says Libertys are a hot commodity and are stripped down as soon as they come in. I've checked clist and most parts are for Cherokees and Wranglers. I have found one site with '05 Liberty wheels (gray with machined lip) for $139 a piece. More than I wanted to spend, but they sure are nice and I may just have to do it. Thanks

I own and have tried 2 different style 15" OE wrangler
Wheels on a KJ and neither fit
The brakes are to big

Let me say it again ,for the 1,000,000 time
Do you have some problem with your OE wheels?
Did they stop holding air?
Are they still round?

check carpart.com. Some are under $100 each. You can even select the style you want in the search. If it were me and it was the regular 'ol daily driver I'd keep it original with OEM parts made for the KJ.

If you have to have different wheels there are a couple of sets for sale over on LOST, one set is a renegade dark gray, look good saw them this weekend.
I would stick with 16 inch easy to find that size tire and they fit over the front calipers without issues

J-Thompson, I agree with rockymountain. We want to get rid of the steelies, because they are ugly. The Libertys had so many other nicer style of wheel, we would prefer to have. For the most part, her Liberty is OEM parts. The only thing we want to change is the style of wheel. We really like the Renegade wheels. They would look so good against the Patriot Blue. We would settle for the same style wheel with the machined faced. Don't much care for the painted ones. I will however check carpart.com.

tommudd, what/where is LOST? We would really like the Renegade wheels and if you say they looked good, we'll take your word for it. I had checked your for sale forum the other day, but didn't see anything in there.

Thanks everyone for the info.

I guess that is what separates me from the crowd
I give very little thought to looks
But if it increases my Jeeps off road ability
Or the performance of the VW on road
Or the abity to carry more weight for the 250
Then I see a use for it
I would be rocking 10 year old steelies with rock rash
Had I not been given new wheels
