Hood struts

With two torn rotator cuffs,this old geezer could not open the hood of my 2012 Liberty.
Finding a couple threads about hood struts on here,I had the local speed shop order a kit from Warrior,and install it.

That's a good kit. I've had it now for a year and a half and am more than happy with it.

But (cough, wheeze) $73? Good parts store/rockauto aftermarket hood supports are only $30/pair. Even Mopar ones are only $48/pair.

When I looked at Rock Auto's website,they had at least a dozen listed for my 2012 KK.
I needed them installed,anyway.
