most ins companies won't cover you unless you're on "terra firma"... ie: a sheet of ice is not ground, therefore they won't pay.

What a waste of a good jeep. That needs to be hauled out immediately or it's scrap metal. And even then it is most likely trashed.

We have people getting killed here every year breaking through frozen lakes. 2 stupid kids on snomobiles broke through the ice last year and only one got out.
