I have owened a number of jeeps over the years and now I am in the market for an older KJ (2003-2006). I am in Mexico where there are some KJs that were manufectured for the domestic market and there are KJs that were used in the US and later imported as a used car.
That said, I want to be able to take it off road but will be able to minimal modifications to the KJ (no lift). So, what is the best KJ to look for? One with a tow package? Certain transmission? Transfer case?
I have looked for a thread like this, but came up short. Your suggestions would be GREATLY appriciated!
