New guy here, I just installed rustys 2.5" coil lift and Clevis rings on my 05 Liberty (even though everyone recommends OME) from what I've read, I should be sitting around 22" hub to fender but I'm only at 19.5" drivers side and 20" on the passenger side.
The only thing I can think of right now is that I had a hard time getting the spring to stay on the stop on the strut perch when trying to line the lower Clevis bolt back up as I had to rotate the strut. Could the spring not being in the right spot result in loss of lift?
Sorry for the long first post and thanks for any help!

Somewhere between being sane and insane!
You installed it wrong. You need to put in the isolators(bottom and top ones) which means you need to disassemble the old coilovers for the isolators.

Plus the rusty's coils are no better then stock coils and may net you at or slightly above stock height.

Welp, that would make sense. Looks like I'll be taking it back apart tonight. Thanks for the help!

Get good at removing and installing
There is a very good well documented reason why everyone recommends OME
They work, hey ride great, they last a long time
3 things you on't get from Rustys
But whats mentioned above is part of your problem
Too bad you already installed them
Good luck

The only reason I didn't go with ome is because I never usually keep anything longer than a year and didn't want to spend the extra money on something I probably won't keep. Now don't get me wrong, if I end up keeping the kj for awhile and not getting a wrangler I will definitely end up going with OME stuff.

Got the isolators put on and all is well and she's sitting pretty. Getting new tires and a alignment tomorrow. Thanks for pointing out my mistake for me!

It may past a year, the only one I was convinced in installing, rear shocks went first, then the sag just kept going, about a year it was almost down to stock height again

Ive had rustys front coils for a good 8 or so years now. Sits in the same spot as when I first put them in.

Started out with OME HD rear coils and OME med coils up front. The rear was much higher than the front and everyone at the time said OME HD coils up front would still be lower in the front. So rustys it is, sits darn near level and rides great. Im all stock as far as weight though, so I really dont need a higher spring rate.

Wouldnt you be able to level it with a top plate or clevis adjustment in the front?

Never ever heard of any of the Rustys lasting that long. Seans went south so fast and he wheeled less than you ever did ! LOL
