Hi all, got a question about ARB bullbar installation on my '03 Liberty. I've seen numerous photos of installed ARB bullbars, and it seems clear that something needs to be done to the stock flared wheel guards, involving cutting them.

Here's a picture of stock - http://www.4x4review.com/vehicles/jeep/2003-Jeep-Liberty.asp
Here's the ARB bullbar installed -

noticed tjkj2002 has this setup

Do you simply cut them yourself? If so, is there any rubber or plastic covers for the cut to make it look decent / remove the sharp edge?

I'm planning the usual upgrades (bullbar, winch, lift, all-terrains), starting with the bullbar, will have more posts soon, including when it's done.
Thanks for your time

tjkj......the ARB and those mtr's on soft 8's look good.

Jason......yea, tjkj is right. Measure it a bunch of times before you start cutting.

The pic on the left is with my old rims, they are "rock crawlers" from American Racing,I switched to soft 8's after I trashed the crawlers.I also no longer have MT/R's(spare only),I'm trying out the Interco Trxus MT's.Gotta see if there worth a darn for my SFA swap.
