want to max out an OME lift with stock CV's and such. Is this everything i need besides hockey pucks for the rear? this is 1/4" top plate, should i get that one or get a 3/8" plate made?? I have the CAD file so i could just get a shop to make the thicker one. thanks guys, so close to pulling the trigger

Stick with 1/4 inch
If you have OME 927s in front
1/4 inch top plate/ 3/8 inch clevis will put you about 3.25 inches when settled in
any more and you'll have spring ? UCA contact etc
Its not always about the height of your ride BUT the quality of the ride over all

OK thanks tomm. I am getting the JBA UCAs in with my lift also. Not sure if that changes anything

Not the mountains.

They make it easier to get a good alignment but they also last a lot longer than the stock upper a arms. You'll need to grind out some metal in the lower part of the pockets where the a-arms bolt in so they don't constantly hit at full droop.

Not as far as height, at about 3.5-3.75( some variances) you start to get UCA and spring contact even with the JBA UCAs

OK so even with JBA UCA you still recommend the 1/4" top plate and the 3/8"clevis lift? Can't stretch it a little more?

Oh also I threw in 2 extra isos for each side on the rear. Will that make it sit level or a little higher in the rear?

OK , since I've never lifted a KJ and know nothing about heights that it will give you I'm just guessing here :happy175::happy175::happy175:
EVEN with the JBA UCAs anything over the 3.50 will or could cause contact
NOW how much lift does the 927s etc give you?
Lets do some simple math.
927s give you 2.5 inches of lift
1/4 inch top plate gives you how much ? Yes correct 1/2 inch
so now we are up to 3 inches correct? Yes
Now 3/8 inch of clevis gives you 3/4 inches of lift
so now we are what/ how much, yes 3.75 inches of lift which when it settles in will be about 3.5 just right
Lesson over :shrug::happy175::happy175:
No can't stretech, trust me we have tried stretching it here at my shop several times :icon_lol:

I've been on these boards since I bought my jeep tomm and I've seen all your posts and I do realize you've worked on more of these rigs than anyone else here. Please don't mistake my attempts to clarify as not believing you. Just want to make sure I'm getting the right parts is all. I appreciate your input and believe me I am listening. :happy160:

What about those rear isos? One or two per side?

I've got 3/8" on top and bottom (1/4" on the passenger side clevis to help level out the KJ lean) with OME springs and shocks in the front. I have ZERO UCA contact with JBA's arms. But then again, each beast is different.

Each insulator will be about a half inch of lift. With 3.75-4" in the front and 3.5" in the back, the Jeep has lost its factory rake. I don't mind rake or no rake. So it's a matter of personal preference. I think with the 1/4" on top and 3/8" on bottom, two insulators would look absolutely fine on the rear.

Brake lines are worth considering... I'm sitting at 22" hub-to flare and the brake lines don't look like they can take any more at full droop.

Later models need a drop down bracket
My 04 with 4.5 inches of lift never had any issues though

Is that will be two isolator on the rear upper right and two isolator in the rear upper left having 2 isolator on the back of each side? Please correct me.

Regards

Use two " extra " per side for one inch of lift in the rear
So you will have 3 on top ( 2 new and one original) and of course the bottom one if going 3.5 inches of lift

'04 here and no brake line issues (from lifting...). Brake lines have plenty of line left to stretch.
