So I've been really shopping around and found out that Autozone sells iso's for around $10 a pair. Just thought I'd put the word out. That's the cheapest I've found them. And they're OEM quality that you would get from buying from Chrysler direct or any other place that I've seen so far. Just recently joined the forum and wanted to attempt to help.

Just be careful when buying them
I was in a hurry for a set of front isolators and picked some up at Murrays , looked them over and took them back, cheap Chinese junk

Or just spend 10 bucks on a sheet of ply wood. Cut them bad boys out. Paint them up and call it a day. I had two pairs on mine for almost 3 years. Still looked good when I took them out.

The back upper iso's I got at Autozone looked good and just like the ones on bottom. They work great. And I go through too much mud and water crossing on our land behind the house to use wood.

Maybe I should clarify.....I used marine ply from the local homedepot when people cut the sheets and leave the leftover.

But it was a experiment at the time and was to prove a point.....needless to say it worked. But now I have ISOs from rockauto.

Ran a pair of plywood ones back in 05-06 , treated plywood and they work OK. I was like you out to prove it could be done just like using a cutting board for 1/4 inch top plates :party36:

Oh and they went through a few inches of water

So y'all both switched to real ISO's lol. And by marine do you mean like decking they use on boats? I don't know if Lowes sells marine wood. I haven't checked either tho lol. I have 3 Lowes but No home depot around my area. and all I was saying is I found OEM isos for $10 a pair. wasn't trying to start an argument. or did I say it couldn't be done with plywood. And by water. I mean Where I camp fish and hunt I have to travel up a creek round about 500 yards. I go at least every weekend and everyday almost during summer. it's only 2ft high. 3 when it rains

The marine ply I used was rated to be under water like on a sailboat hull. Heck I have a cedar strip kayak that I made and it just has a layer of tung oil just to bring out the grain. Wood will work but the wifey used my wood isos for her project.

Its no fun if you install a lift and then forget about it, have to keep taking it apart and trying new things , see if you can add more lift, if so see what it does . Its ongoing and keeps ya busy ha ha
