Are the adjust-a-struts from JBA 2.5" kit and the 4" kit the same? Is the only difference between the kits the length of the rear springs/shocks?

I'm wondering what would be required if I went with the 2.5" kit and wanted to update to 4.0" down the road.

Any guides floating around on how to cut down your CVs?

Same, have to swap rear springs and shocks
No real need to cut the CVs I've ran many a mile with stock NAPA Remans at over 4 inches
I've ran the 4 inch on my 04 and the 03 has the 2.5 Total Control Lift on it

If you're already thinking of 4" down the road just go ahead and do it now. I mean why do the job twice?

That's what's got me asking questions about the 4". Was going to go with the Mudd Econo but it'll be a waste of $1500 when I want to go larger in 3 months.

Not quite sure what you mean of a waste, I mean yes with the JBA coilovers you can go 4 inches of lift over the 3.5 the TMEcono lift gives .
The ride is better as well with the coilovers it comes down to price
PLUS you may as well figure in regearing since once you go 4 inch lift ( you think ) you need to go to 32s

I just meant spending the money on ome to only replace it a few months later. Might as well spend it once and be done.

Do you know anything about the upgrade to Fox shocks for the front that is listed as an upgrade? Can they handle more abuse? Right better?

Bumping to see if anyone knows some more info on the fox shock upgrade for the adjust a struts. How do they ride? Are they stronger/higher quality than the regular JBA adjust a strut? or just paying for the name?

Three months? Why not drive the KJ stock until then?
I would want a lift ASAP too, but to me sounds like a waste of money on alignments.. By the time everything settled in and you got a second or third alignment, you'd be looking at tearing it out and putting something new in, and have to start back over.. that's like 120-180 thrown away on alignments
