Yea, Ive never even heard of forbes. And the libertys gets 5 star front crash test rating. Pretty sure the side is 3star+.

Read any other review and it will say its good.

Ill put my Jeep up against a forign POS any day of the week.

Someone obviously paid them. The top 5 are Chrysler/ If KJ's are so effin' bad and their resale is so horrible, why am I never out of sight of one anywhere I go? They are one of the most popular SUV's on the road in America.

Yeah, but popularity is not synonomous with great performance. I agree that fuel consumption of KJ *****, it is SLOW and underpowered for its weight, and it is/was pretty expensive at LTD level.

I disagree on all counts. Explorer/Escape get the same mpg with the same performance. GM doesn't have anything even close to the KJ, they are glorified minivans (Equinox). What's the Xterra get?

Sure, it may be expensive at the LTD level. My Sport was $24k out the door. Again, explorers/escapes were more. Check out the high-end versions of those.

I don't think they have bad resale either. I think they hold value fairly decently.

What is the 0-60 on escape, and how many major recalls did they have? Again, just because we drive it doesn't make it superior. I agree that resale value should not have been included if this is a performance-wise ranking, but it aint the quickest of the bunch.

Trust me, I don't think a car is superior because I drive it. I've seen that mentality on various boards and it drives me nuts.

Quick search. I don't see THAT much difference. Check the pricing too

Atrus.....I know the KJ and H3 have have real t-cases with 4lo but I didn't know the Escape did. If it doesn't it's not really comparable in my opinion.

No matter what vehicle someone is bashing, people need to THINK when they read stuff, and people that do reviews should NOT be bias.
