Leaving The Forum

Hey everybody sorry but I'm leaving the forum because I believe I upset a lot of people on a recent post.

I wana thank everybody who's great advice has gotten my KJ into top running shape. I plan to keep it for the long hall and I hope I make it to 200k.

Take care everybody and be thankful and glad your own a KJ. It is really a fun vehicle to drive.

My advice, if you have those feelings... take month or two off. I did this with my camaro club last July, got tired of the immature adult whiney children, just needed a break. I've just now starting making visits again. Lot of good people I miss over there. You may feel you made people mad here, they will get over in time, it's seems it's their problem anyway, not yours. They would be the ones to leave, not you.

well some folks do go overboard on these forums. just take it all with a grain of salt. everyone has, and is entitled to an opinion.

i state my opinions and tend not to get excited if somone diasagrees with em lol....

i use these forums more for information than for entertainment value.

there are a LOT of folks that enjoy getting confrontational and seeing other folks get all wound up ands pissed. i fail to see the entertainment value in that type of behavior.

LOR - While I don't agree with what was said, that isn't a reason to leave the forums . The reason forums are here is for help and express mixed opinions. If we all had the same opinions, then the forums would be awfully boring.

When it comes to sensitive subjects, just be courteous of others and all will be well .

I say that if folks get easily offended on the internet, then they need to be offended more often. If folks get all butthurt by something you say then they have the ability to leave. You have to take interweb fourms with a grain of salt, not everyone will agree with you, not everyone will like you or what you say. You just need to just let it roll off your back and move on.

LOR (Matt), don't go dude. Your opinions are welcomed, even if they are different from others. That's what makes forums what they are, Open, free discussion. I'm pretty sure that I've made my share of dumb-ass posts and I'm still here. Serious man. Without free, open discourse what would we be? A herd of sheep thats what. Stick around, it's all good.

Like others have said, it is essentially a free speech forum for people to kill time, learn, teach, poke fun at people for not getting a haircut, help each other out, etc.. and there are going to be things that some feel strongly about and will make themselves be heard. Personally, I do not agree with wheeling where it is not allowed, but I have done my share of stupid stuff in the past 26 years and am at the point where I think about the possible consequences to my actions to myself and whoever else it would affect. I have learned from my brother and want to be the guy who helps others and hope they keep it going.

Life is too short to get caught up in arguments and bashing people for what they do/say. In your other thread people gave reasons why going through some places is a very bad idea and does a lot of collateral damage and others gave good ideas like getting permission and not having to worry.

Do your thing and as long as you're not hurting others or their property, who cares.

To me the forums are a good source of info but also i like a good argument now and then, just makes my day as its a good stress reliever... LOL
