Basically at 21" all around. I know I could go higher, but this height works good for me off road and allows it to still fit in parking garages with the ski rack on, so I'm good with it.

Adding a Warn M8000 winch via the Backbone. Right now I'm running the medium duty OME springs front/rear and have been in love with the ride and the performance. Nothing extra besides a bit of clevis in the front. So would stepping up to the 927s in the front (with the winch) be about the same as what I have now? Should I be prepared to add some extra isolators to the rear?

Thanks!

Having run the mediums myself,I would say 927s at least.
112lbs combined weight of BB and winch.
I'd add a top plate also and use clevis and isos to level.

Oops, thought I included that. I'm at 21" all around, maybe a little higher in the rear (21 1/4")

Just wanted to make sure
927s will put you at 21.5 when new so taking into account the winch and Detours here is what I would do
Install the 927s by themselves, after installing winch etc / springs getting broke in , recheck, would be easy to throw a little clevis in at that time if needed

The Bilsteins in the front now have about 55k on them...should I assume to replace those as well?

you remember my thread when I put in the 790's up front and the plow on, right?
when I ran the numbers the 927's would be 'maxed' out by the winch+backbone combo. (based on their addon weight rating.) I went to the 790's because I thought (and still hope to) be able to run the plow without pulling the winch off. Actually, I still need to get the backbone ON the jeep!

With how you are using yours agree with the 790s, plows are tough on suspensions and the extra weight of everything you have
But for how Hoosier is going to be using his, the fact he likes the 926s currently and how he takes care of his, 927s are still best for him IMO

How long did it take you to get your Backbone? Just curious, ordered mine yesterday so just curious to see if it took a few weeks.

Also, should I be worried about have the medium duties in the rear- for balance of flex? Or will the winch/backbone even it out well?

And thanks for the help everyone! I know lift questions all sound the same lol

I can't disagree. All I'm noting is, when I did my research and ran the #s, I was right on the max added weight the 927s were "rated" for. I have no idea what buffer might be added to that number, and given my targeted endgame (winch & armor on 24/7, plus plow in the winter) that's how I came to the 790s answer. I'm willing to bet that 927s would serve him well though, especially if he decides to drop the winch at some point. The 790s ride just a LITTLE stiff when unladen, but nothing killer.

As for backbone delivery, I honestly don't remember. :D it was so long ago and it's STILL not on :emotions34:
