Has anyone considered getting them? There are few that looks great, almost invisible to the drive while visible to blind spot cars, and few that are too bright and weird looking.
I have heated mirrors, that also concerns me. Any ideas?

Are they after market parts because I didn't know any of the Liberties had them. I thought about doing this and found a couple online spots where you can wire in some special turn signal LEDS that stick to your mirror. Might be worth it than replacing the entire side mirror unit.

You are right, they don't have the mirror for the KJ, they have the mirrors for all other line of cars/suvs, but KJ.
So I decided to buy a couple of stick ons from eBay, they cost about $20, but I was concerned about the heated mirrors, if they will cause any problems, peelage, or falling.. plus I am not sure if there is enough space behind the mirror to run wires, they would have to go through heat/control wires down inside to relay, I am just looking for some sort of instruction or manual to get a general idea before I buy them..

actually this one looks better, since it doesn't take up space and cannot get affected by the heat.

Those would bug the hell out of me. I'd have to mount them on the bottom or outside of the mirror so I couldn't see it while driving. I think side markers in place of the "trail-rated" badges would be a better idea, for me personally but, I hate wiring so that's probably not gonna happen. hmmm.gif

Cheers

Thanks, I have seen them but they take too much space on the mirror, plus it has 3M tape, which might eventually come off from the heat on the mirror, or car wash places..

And $180.. wow! :) I think I will continue looking for installation sheets or instructions for those $20 stick on LED types. :-s

How does the $20 LED stick ons function? Do they wire directly into your turn signals? It just sounds like a sticker with reflection on it...lol.

Yep, that's what I thought, but ebay has them, a lot of them, and has been selling a lot.
They wire to the signal, and that's what I have been trying to find out. How and where do they wire from? And if anyone's done it, how is it wired. It says it is very easy, bla bla bla.. If i wanted to sell a turkey to you, I would say it is easy to behead it before you cooked it.. Try that when the poor bugger is looking at you in the eyes.. bad comparison I know, but here is the link:

Link 2

Edit: hey what do you know here are the instructions from Link 2:

You must be registered for see images

1. Wipe Clean the application area with a mild cleanser (rubbing alcohol).

2. After removing the eccentric paper from the back of the arrow, adhere on cleaned mirror surface. Be sure not to touch sticky back with hands or fingers before mounting.

3. Run both positive (+) and Ground (-) wires through the mirror and into your auto cabin.

4. Locate your fuse box inside your car.

5. Place the (+) positive wire inside your turning signal fuse.

6. Ground the (-) wire to any type of bolt or screw on your vehicle.

7. Please test both left and right turning signals to assure proper installation.

**Caution** Please wait 24-48 Hours for any type of water on the arrows, this will assure a secure fasten to your mirrors.

sounds pretty straight forward and easy?!?

Hey guys,

Our local Wal-Mart sells those self adhesive red L.E.D. arrows like the ones on those links for $12.93 Canuk Buck!
Thought of getting 'em myself...But they do look rather Boy Racer!

ry'

Yeah, I know, the thick ones do, but I really want to get a set for improved visibility on tight lane changes... and to tell others that I want to change lanes when it is impossible for them to see that, right next to me.
