My 2012 Liberty 3.7L stay in third gear. It doesn't shift up or down from that gear.

The last diagnosis on my 2012 Liberty 3.7 was a failure in the transmission module. They told me that it must be changed and the computer programmed to accept the new module. What do I need to do it if I buy the module?

The last diagnosis on my 2012 Liberty 3.7 was a failure in the transmission module. They told me that it must be changed and the computer programmed to accept the new module. What do I need to do it if I buy the module?

I had to buy the module, luckily picked the right one, and purchased a new transmission pan with a drain plug. Some say it has to be programmed some say otherwise. So I brought mine to a shop to have it done. About $300 in labor. eBay parts. Working fine now.
