Looks good!! Having a set of lights on the front really makes a Jeep look better. I dont like the look of my jeep without them.

I want to install these on my bumper too, but don't want to drill thru the plastic painted(limited) bumper. Any suggestions on how to mount lights without drilling my plastic?

Push bars I guess. How stable is it if you install it on the bumper?

Check out how I mounted mine. Welby mounted his in a similar way but I never really figured out how he mounted them. He was recently involved in a wreck though and I think it was totaled. :(

I think there pretty Stable. When on ruff terrain you can see the beams from the lights shake a little bit but it is very very very minor to the point you have to be really looking out for it in order to notice it. I say that because I was looking out for it when I went out on the test drive and It took me a couple times but i finally noticed it but my father didn't even noticed it. Even after I pointed it out to him. So it is a very very minor thing. And all I have on it the mounting Brackets that came with the kit. No extra washers or anything.

Looks great, really clean job. I am debating 2 on the bumper or 4 on the roof rack next.

hey Thanks!

I was thinking the same too. The Bumper or Roof. The 500FF's where $65 at the local Walmart and the Mopar Lightbar is $350 to $500. Atleast that's the price range I've seen for it between ebay, Mopar website, and other vendors. So the Hellas won that battle in price. If I really did have money to burn I think I would get the Lightbar.

You can always get 4 Hellas on the bumper and call it even :). I saw a 07 Chevy Silverado with a push bar that had 4 Hella 700's on it. I could only wonder what it be like to turn all those lights on in the mid of night. :D

Hey is it safe to run the hellas with the covers on? I saw a vehicle last nite using them like that. I was thinking... Wouldn't covers become warped from the heat or something?

I would imagine they get pretty hot, so just as a precaution take the covers off. I cant really imagine why he had them on with the covers on unless he hit the switch accidentally.

I saw the same vehicle again lastnite with the lights on and covers on. It does look pretty cool thou seeing the bright Hella logos on at night. I personally wouldn't do it. I'd be too worried about melting the covers or something.
