When it rains alot, after a while my stereo goes dead/has no sound.
If i mess with it turning it off an on it will come on for a min or 2 then the sound goes off again some kind of short circuit from water getting in somewhere im thinking?Anyone every have this problem? when it dries up it works fine :(

I saw a post in here that someones sound was going dead also and that the amps where on fuse 18 so i checked that for the heck of it but there is no fuse in slot 18 on mine nor is it labeled for use. (This is on a 2003 liberty limited)

Also if i can figure this out I wanted to get some tweeters to replace dash speakers do i need to put in some kind of crossver or is there one already in there?

thanks,
mord

Do you have the premium speaker package? If so maybe water is gettin to the amp/speakers in the door.

Not sure of the Premium Package, but if you're just replacing the dash speakers with tweeters, you do need a crossover (because the dash speakers are not tweeters). I'd recommend a pair that comes with an in-line crossover (the simplest method).
