I was wondering if there is anyway to get another 1.5" to 2" more lift? I have a daystar 2.5" lift right now with everything else suspension wise being stock and I need a little more. I know this has probably been asked before and I know you cant do a body lift. Any suggestions would be grateful:confused:

damn good. my jeep is a completely different animal with the new springs. ome HD's front and rear. i can take turns a 70 that i couldnt take at 45 before. no bull. i got super lift shocks and i still have my rusty's struts (they suck). it rides, handles, performs so much better than stock.

Any more than 3" of lift, and you are looking for CV troubles.Above 3" then you need new cut CV joints, either buying them or getting them machined yourself. Yes JBA has a 4" and a 6" kit, but at $2K and nearly$4K is another 1-2" worth all that money and eventual problems? There have been a few that pushed the limits of lifting the KJ and all have found out that 3" is the best all around useable drivable height.

Search the threads and see for yourself.

unless you do something radical like my lift, your not going to go any higher then a daystar lift. look at my thread TWACK LIFT if you want to know what im talking about. any higher then a daystar lift and you need cut CVs and bigger A arms. worry about new struts then look into a spring lift with a spacer plate. or if your just that desperate stick with what you got and do a clevis lift and add a rear isolator that should give you .5

thanks. yea people with the bigger tires pop the fenders off when the suspension flexes. make sure to get bump stops with the bigger tires.

I still see swampthing when I go to west side of town, he did lower it back to 3" or so. Last I heard he was puttingin new ******, but that was back in June/July.
I helped ms5490 install his new OME front springs... it looked so much better after removing the saggy front Rustys. Most will usggest not to push the 3" height or else save up some serious cash and just do a SFA.
