PCV valve hose

While you’re at it replace the PCV valve and the hose. Part numbers below. Not expensive.

53034065AA
53032993AD (AF)

The new hose AF is a slightly different design than the old one AD. It will work fine.

The reason it is running poorly is you essentially have a vacuum leak with the crack in the hose.

When in doubt, disconnect the battery terminals and tape them together for 30 minutes or so. Resets everything.

My scanner says the check engine light is on due to high idle rpms checked the actual reading with the scanner it idles at 712rpm
My mpg is way down but i know thats due to the gash in the elbow of the pcv hose i just dont understand why its stalling out with the hole taped up
