Here are the pics of the new CRD with 235 70 16 BFG All Terrain T/A KO's.

Just a bit of a recap. We traded our '02 LTD w/83000 miles and owing $17,800 on for this new '05 CRD LTD w/139 miles (so it had a couple of test drives) for $32,000 out the door.

Very Nice, enjoy your 5 speed transmission CRD. I wish we could get them in NY.

Thanks. I'm really surprised at the pep out of the CRD. I really don't notice any lack of performance between the CRD or the Renegade.

Unreal. Why are they so strict on them in NY? Just wondering, are the CRD's also banned from CA too?

We just got rid of our emision testing program here. If they wanted an extra $20.00, thay should have just raised the price, instead of making us jump through those hoops. The guys tore up cars, sometimes wouldn't even do the test (but still pass the car), and if you failed at one site, often you could drive straight to another and pass. Such a rip.

Looks sharp! Do the new ones come with a single key/remote, or are they still two seperate pieces?

Emissions, one thing I can never understand. They seem to be blind to dark-as-hell fumes of the trucks, buses and old chevies driving around, but when it comes to 06 diesels, No way, they don't want them..

I also feel that if they are going to make sure a car doesn't polute, how about seeing if it can stop, has decent tires, have break lights, or wipers and the like. Let's save the planet, but who cares if beaters mow down other cars and people.

Nice CRD! Congratulations, and nice deal! (Cheers)

Speaking of emissions... I can't figure out why it is that registration is so much more for new cars? I mean we're supporting the auto industry, not to mention new cars are much cleaner burning. I see junkers driving down the road all the time and I'm sure their polluting big time. Just my rant for the day... as I just had to renew plates for my two Jeeps. :-({|=
