Hi all! I'm new to the forum... Pittsburgh, just bought a 2005 Renegade 3.7 4X4 with 57k miles. After purchase I filled the tank and set the trip odometer. I got 205 miles to the tank! Upon refill I added 16.9 gallons to top it off. That's around 12.1 mpg....? I've read some other threads on how to improve mpg, air filter, tire pressure, etc... but 12.1 seems really low. Any suggestions?

Hey. Also from Pa here. How are you driving her? Could look onto some injector cleaner, change the plugs, filters and fluids. That would be a good start :)

Winter-blend fuel is to blame also... you'll always get worse MPG's this time of the year than you will in the summer.

If it's a new (to you) vehicle, I would definitely go through and change plugs and fluids... start from there.

That's a good point. Always forget about that damned winter blend. I get about 16.5 right now. =/

Yeah I thought it could be the winter blend to some extent. I will definitely change out the plugs, fluids, and filters. Thanks for welcome!
