I need to find a discontinued Mopar remote start installation kit for our 2005 Liberty but noticed I could not yet post in the WTB section. I assume I need a few more posts under my belt so consider this my first one. I don't mean to solicit my request here. Just stating my purpose for being here.
Whenever I find this part, I'll contribute a brief write-up on how to install it for anyone that is curious.
I bought a PT Cruiser/Neon remote start base kit (PN 82208999) since it has the same wiring connectors and is still available and roughly half the price of a 05-06 Liberty harness (PN 82208998). I am going to include what needs to be done to modify this harness to fit a Liberty. However, I’ll need to find the real deal first so I know what changes to make.
