Hi All, I just joined and wanted to say "Hello".

I have a 2002 Liberty Limited with the leather seats and towing package. I bought it used in December when I couldn't get my Explorer serviced. This was right after Katrina when you were lucky to find groceries and gas.

I really love this Jeep but there are two things that irritate me a little. One is the length of the front seats. I'm almost 6' and I wish the seat length were a little longer, so they came almost to your knee-bend. The other thing that bugs me is that the rear seats don't fold flat.

Other than that I'm very happy with this purchase.

I've lurked a while here and noticed there is not much love for the Goodyear Eagle RS/A (stocker) tires. I do half-and-half highway and city driving and find these tires pretty nice. I've yet to hydroplane but have skidded to a stop more than once, only because I was used to ABS on the Explorer (I think). I've since learned how much distance I need to stop.

Anyway, thanks for information presented here. Because of this site I found out there was a recall on my ball joints.

Yea, you shouldnt be sliding to a stop in the rain. The only time Ive ever had a tire lock up was when a dog ran out infront of me in the rain, and when I was towing a boat in the rain and someone stopped kinda quick infront of me. O:)

Welcome Timmer! Yeah, not much love for the stock tires. Mine are looking sad... I'm hoping to put some Revos on mine soon. If you've got Selec-Trac (which I assume that you do since you've got a Limited), be sure to use the "full-time" when the roads get wet. It's basically all wheel drive.
