Hi, I have a 2007 jeep liberty sport v6 3.7L automatic
I wondered if someone with another 07' like mine can confirm its normal behavior for the pcm to only go into open loop drive deceleration mode coasting downhill over 50mph IF overdrive is turned off?
The factory service manual I have is for an 06' I can't find 07' kj manual. The 06 manual says in hard deceleration open loop drive mode should be active, but it only does it if I turn off overdrive. My scan tool is weak and I don't see any transmission pids so not sure If my pcm is messed up and that's why I'm getting flashing cel and p0300 after coasting fast downhill after around 10 seconds. I've tested dozens of things and still can't find source of problem.
