My low beams, gages, tail lights, EVIC, dome lights are not working. The odometer lights up, the lower entry lights come on, radio goes into cd change mode, but not display, high beams work when lever is pulled, but won't engage in the hold position, brake lights work, turn signals work, back up lights work. The EVIC, radio display and dome lights worked and the dimmer worked as well, before I removed and replaced the connectors on the interior fuse box(junction box), to access and test the low beam relay. (Which was good)
I've checked all the fuses, interior fuse box as well as the PDC, and all are good. There's power to all three 50amp fuses to the junction box. The turn signals, high beams, lower entry lights and dimmer, and wipers all work on the multifunction switch.
Prior to these issues, I had removed, cleaned, and replaced the ignition switch and tumbler, and the multifunction switch. My data port connector is not communicating with the PCM. It has power, just not communicating. I've tested each wire and each one has resistance. I was going to recheck the terminals and make sure they were properly in place and tight, but read that the ignition could have a bad connection and not sending the proper signal to the PCM, when turning the ignition to start, in order to read the OBD scanner, so I addressed that possibility first. There was corrosion in the tumblers and in the SKIM module, and some sticky residue on the multifunction switch, so I cleaned them. The two connectors that came from the head light lever, into the box its connected to, had some kind of residue all over them, so I cleaned them too.
After I cleaned and replaced everything I just mentioned, and realized my low beams and tail lights weren't working, I figured it was the switch, but after further investigation, I found that the multifunction switch has no control over the tail lights. Upon further investigation, I found that the low beam relay was an issue with a majority others with similar issues, and the reason I messed with the junction box.
Now I'm lost... Why the overhead lights, EVIC, and radio display stopped working, puzzles me.
My hands are thrown up and I'm at a stand still.
Can anyone shed some light on this conundrum???? I can drive at night, and I've been trying to fix my data port so I can get my jeep smogged, its already nearing a year since I paid my reg fees, but have an incomplete registration and a crap load of daily moving permits, and multiple citations.
Help help help!!!!!

Start with what you touched, I'm guessing a connector has pushed back or popped off.

Do you have a meter? If not you will need to get one, a cheap one will do.
At some point you have lost the feed, it may be a pin pushed back in a connector or a broken wire, you need to download the manuals and chase the supply until you find the fault. Unfortunately it looks like you have at least 2 faults to find, the original one and the one affecting the interior.
Don't rely on looking at the fuses put them on the meter and check continuity, I have had them blow but still look intact. Then look at the ignition switch, you found corrosion there so measure the voltage under load, it may be braking down under load. Check all the connections for corrosion and continuity. It's a pain but should be a process of elimination.
