Hi , wondering if anyone else had a problem with their odometer , radio & overhead map lights flickering ?? .(NOT!! the dash lights themselves).
Dealer suggest that the signal switch/ light switch arm is bad . Would like to know if anyone else has had to replace this for the same reason ...before I go ahead and buy one .
2003 Liberty 3.7 4wd .
Tks and any info greatly appreciated .
D.

The turn signal stock has the dimmer etc and is known to wear and cause some strange electrical issues. Many have had to replace it.
Try turning your dimmer up to where it is two clicks below where the interior lights come on and give that a try, or when lights flicker move the dimmer switch and see if it stops flickering.
When I park the Jeep overnight I always now turn the dimmer all the way down to off, as the lights have come on before overnight.

Hi & tks for the reply....That's what we have been doing ; so the dealer was probably right in replacing that whole arm assembly , do you know if this has to be done by a dealer or can I ( average backyard mechanic ) change this out ??

you can do it your self. I did mine myself when i placed in the factory fog lights. its only a few bolts and a connector and it falls right out.
