Had a friend of mine assemble a set of 927's and Billsteins for me today. He let me know that he got them finished but he was afraid there was to much pressure on the mount nut?? This is my first go around with a "coilover" type system so I told him I didn't know. I know it doesn't matter once it's on the jeep but should there be that much pressure?

You should let him try to do a set of 790's! All J's & Jeepin by Al ship them assembled and I havnt heard of any problems yet.

Yea he didn't think the shocks were long enough. Are the shocks normally fully extended when assembled with the stock coil springs too?

You'll have to wait on an expert to answer that. I had mine assembled at Jeepin by Al I don't know if they were fully extended or not.

Yes there is some pressure there and the springs themselves push the shocks out full length
