Is anyone running something like OME 927's with rancho or OME struts with a daystar or rustys spacer also? i have the 927's on right now and my front end doest look as high up as most ppl's that have the frankenlift. I have my old spacer lift which was a rustys spacer budget lift. its just a top plate extension thing for the strut. would it be too much to put that in the front on my 927?

A 927 is 2.5" right????

If that's the case, and if you add a 2.5" spacer, you'll run into CV angle issues in the front.:)

Mine with OME 927s sits as high or higher than most Frankenlifts, just add a top plate from Rustys or RRO and some clevis.
DO NOT try and add some junk spacers lifts unless you don't like driving your KJ

also what are you at now from the center of the wheel to the bottom of the flare?

these are what i was talking about the top plates. they measure about 1.5" would it be ok to put those on top of my 927?

Those would give you about three inches of lift, too much would cause CV binding I am sure, have to remember that on the front if you say use a 1/4 inch spacer you actually get 1/2 inch of lift , everything doubles!

Mine with 927 springs with over 95,000 miles on them, 4 clevis rings (I think) and a RRO top plate is at 23.5 inches I had it at 24.25 but the CVs were very upset with me so had to lower it. If you use that spacer you will more than likely have the same issues

well i found two things:
The RRO ones say it will equal 9/16" of lift for $53.65 shipped

The Rustys top plate says it will equal "about" 1/2" of lift for $43.70

which pair would one of wise thoughts recommend?

I have had both on mine, I switched out the Rustys for a little extra with the RROs plus Chris wanted to try the Rustys on his Franky. The Daystar top plate does not have long enough studs to be able to install the nuts with the RROs, with the stock top plate you can run the RROs though. have to ask yourself what that little extra is worth. If like me I did not pay full price it was not a big deal;)

The daystar upper strut plate won't give you extra lift...it just allows the shock to go back to a normal operating position when you install the daystar poly spacer, or in the case of the Frankenlift, their poly spacer in combination with the OME coils.

If you're worried about CV axle complications, you aught to go to jeepinbyal.com and pick up a set that are designed with 3/8 inch machined off the front to allow full range of the axle. Set of these and you'll never have to worry about CV problems again.
