Hi All!
So yes I am new to the forum! But I've had my 04 Liberty for just about a year. I was in a bad accident last year, and I needed what I thought would be a beater vehicle, until I got my truck back together. Well one thing lead to another and hear I am.
So I added a RRO lift with OME 926 front springs, OME shocks, earlier this year, I also added the RRO uca's, I also added a rear powertrax locker too, I'm running 245/75/16's. I've had it out on a few trails some pretty decent trails lot of greens and impressed quite a few new Rubicon owners on some moderate blue trails
So today I was going to add 1/2 clevis spacers as my front end has dropped about 1.5 inches.
My center of wheel to fender height was 20 3/4 inches. So I started with the passenger side it fought me pretty good but the spacers are in, now sitting at 22 1/4 inches.
Then I started on drivers side well before I went any further I saw that the upper coil spring insulator was spit out about 1/2 way
So is the upper spring insulator a stock component? I called RRO they said it should be? Grrr....should be? So is it a stock insulator? Not sure if anyone has experienced this.
Also what is everyone running for the sway bar links? Mine on the passenger side is about an Inch away from the bolt hole. Are there extended sway bar links?
And last question is I added the RRO uca's bumpstop extensions they bolt to the upper ball joint and adds about 2 inches?
Is that going to be good for me?
My plan is to add a set of used moab rims and 265/75/16's mud tires. I know I have 373's but not planning on the regear yet to 410's. These tires won't be for daily driving, I'll use my 245's.
If you made it to the end of this Thanks! In advance, and I look forward to chatting with you guys and gals!
