I have a P0122 code, throttle position sensor. I replaced it and cleared the code. Is there any calibration required?

No. If installed correctly it should be good to go. I think I had to line up the mechanism in the sensor with the throttle body and then twist it very slightly to get the screw holes to line up. After that, I just drove it.

Pretty sure you're supposed to take both terminals off the battery and leave them taped together(off the battery of course) for an hour..

This was the common procedure when I had my '01 Ram, so I would assume it would be the same for the Liberty being as though both are Chrysler.

Doesn't mean it shouldn't be done.
Just double checked one of tjkj's comments in a previous thread and he stated its slightly different, he says to
Leave it disconnected for 10 minutes then touch the two terminals together.

Pretty sure I disconnected the negative battery cable while doing the swap. I always do that out of habit when doing electronical stuff. Don't remember anything in the FSM about the "discharge" step.

Truth be told, when I changed my TPS and IAC... I didn't do it either lol.
I do the same though, if a connectors getting unplugged, I'll always disconnect the negative cable..
But I know I didn't disconnect both terminals, let alone touch them together..
Just saying that I'm pretty sure it's what you're supposed to do.
I think it's to discharge any electrical charge that could be stored in the system before plugging in the TPS and risking damage to it.
So if the OP has already plugged in his new TPS, there's really no need to go back for this step
