What kind of paper filter do you use?
On the Fram site they only have one listed for KJ. CA8817

Strange that the Urethane Fram Tough Guard is not available....??

I am tempted to write Fram and ask them if a similar dimension may just drop in.
Does anyone know if a similar urethane exists from a different manufacturer?

I used Napa last time, works good, it's brown.
Really I am trying to find a white one, as with the new PCV system, I want to monitor & see the effects on the air filter, with the smoke entering the air box.
Sponge Bob will be there to help filter though...

Wix filters are about the only I'll use. Air, oil, anything I can filter if Wix has one I'll use it. Fram, IMO, is garbage. If you want cheap, sure, but I'm not always about cheap..... Purolator makes a nice product also, among others. I'll spare the details.

I use a AEM DryFlow paper filter(synthetic paper) with a Outerwear water proof cover.

Yes it's a cone filter but need the space for 1 of my ARB compressors.

Outerwear covers are great, I had one over my K&N cone strictly because I was afraid of too much particulate.. My buddies out at Silver Lake dunes run them on all their rails.

That's what I run on my Ranger. I think the hydrophobic cover is a must. Have one for my KJ but went back to the stock box.

Does the AEM dry flow filter work better than a plain paper one?

. Wix is a product of Amsoil.

I'd love to see what you're basing this on. Wix was a subsidiary of Dana until sold to parent company Affina. Along with Ecolast, Nakata, and Filtron. They might actually build whatever line of filtration products Amsoil has their name on, but not the other way around.:emotions34:

NAPA filters; a exact copy of Wix simply relabeled.
