Part Time light

Hi Ppl, first say that im a new happy owner of a KJ 06 4x4! totally love it! the power, how easy goes in the way! its something really amazin, totally like the inside small like new.

Well my question is this, in my console its showing the light Part Time all the time, and its in 2HI the lever of my 4x4, This suppose to be normal? i had read that part time its only when the 4x4 its active but not my case, in fact, when i move the lever to 4HI the light goes off. I Hope u can help me here, its my first SUV and my first JEEP, u gotta love jeep!.

Bad t-case position sensor.It sits on top of the t-case,there is a thread in the "how to" section for changing it.

My cheapo solution - unplug the battery while the lever is down. It's still working fine with the occasional glitch :]
