My wife and I were in Colorado Springs this past week. We took a trip up to Pikes Peak on Monday but a storm came in that was so bad the Ranger turned us around and sent us back down only about 1/2 mile from the peak. We went back up Wendesday and had a great time. Here are a few pictures with the CRD.

Man, I remember riding the cog train up to the top of pikes peak back in the early '70s. One of these days when I get up to Aurora to visit my buddy I'll have to make time to do it in the KJ.

No Sagging; I have the factory CRD springs. On the rear, I left the 1/2" or so factory spring seat buffer in place so the rear is up as high as it should. No need to correct the headlight POA.

Great adventure but golly, where is all the snow? I heard that it melted early in Colorado this year because of high altitude dust storms but gee I expected to see more than this in May.

Any of the CO. members can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think they got that much snow this last winter. I know I was in Albuquerque at the time and we hardly had any days down in the 30s, most of the time it was in the 40s and 50s. The ski area on Sandia Peak (just east of ABQ, 10,000ft.) didn't even open this last winter cuz it hardly ever got cold enough for them to try and make snow.
