Never did that before?
I am not sure what do you mean by slips but mine always bangs into drive... Sometimes so loud you can clearly hear it if you were standing next to it.

Sounds like maybe your trans is taking a dump. The lift installation shouldn't have anything to do with it. Might just be coincidence.

Actually some folks have complained of rear driveline problems after lifting, mostly due to the change in angles on the u-joints. Might want to crawl under and take a look to see if anything is binding.

How about going from Park to Reverse? Also are you parking on an incline like a driveway or hill etc....? I have had the banging noise a couple times but the incline condition is what caused each event. The lift should not have "made" your ****** start slipping though. At least I hope not!

i have just under 18k on it. It seems to bang into gear when im just in a flat parking lot or i tested it at stop signs too, no angles no nothing. The ****** has never had problems before and was never beat on, no neutral drops or anything of that kind, I'll check the fluids this morning and make sure there is enough in there etc. and perhaps add some no slip. But im a bit concerned for 18k.

I highly recommend not doing the "no slip". If you're that concerned about the trans, drop the pan and see what's in there (shavings and clutch dust). Chrysler transmissions seem to be very picky about fluid, as least that's my past experience with my old A604. Could be a totally different animal in the Liberty.

Always could put it back to stock height and take it in to the dealer if you're still under warranty. Didn't '04's have 7 years/70k?

I'd more believe the angle change is contributing to it. I know when I lowered my Grand Prix 2" I got vibration under hard acceleration. The CV's get into a different position due to the angle change. With 18k on it, they should have started to wear a path in the stock location. You probably hear it popping around on the edge of that path now that it's lifted.
