ProComp is running a buy 3 get 1 free deal through their distributors and there is one here in my town, I was looking at their Extreme All Terrains but wasn't sure if they'd make them in a 245/70/16 because I'm in dying need of some tires. Anyone know anything significant about these bad boys?

They are junk
better off just buying any old cheep tire

oh and they jack up the price of the 3 you buy to make up for the "free" tire
I looked in to this a while back and sure as poop is brown the regular price was lower
per tire then it was when they were running the special

I noticed that the Procomp AT in 265/70/17 was $238 during the sale, and now it's over and it's $198.....so they did make up for the "free" one...

Yeah any one of those "buy x ...get 1 free" are all a rip off. There is no such thing as free when buying stuff....someone has to pay for it.

I just bought tires and was pricing everywhere, their price even with the buy 3 one free was still way higher than what I bought 4 Goodyear Dura Tracs for

Just a come on to get people to think they are getting something free

Good year Duratracs look very good. Plus the prices aren't much more than the BFG.

I happen to have 33" ProComp Extremes on my YJ and find they work great on most trails except for deep mud. That was one of the reasons I just bought a set of 245/75R16 AT's for my Liberty. I'll have to let you know how they perform on the trails.

BFGs are way higher than the DuraTracs, price out the BFG ATs then put that against the price I paid for 5) 265-75-16 DuraTracs (less than 850 mounted, balanced, taxes etc.)
Of course the Local Goodyear store ( after me telling them they had such a tire) wanted 198 per tire plus taxes. Over $1060!

I haven't had them on the highway yet but I have noticed that they don't rub the fender wheel wells when I turn the wheel full.

Well, I'll tell ya, that the Goodyear M/T R Kevlar tires I have on our KJ are moderately noisy!

But it finally sounds like a Jeep!
These new tires bite into everything!(Right now while they are brand spanking new!)
Instead of a "Sit and spin" ride and then traction, NOPE!
These tires just dig in and say "Pucker your ass cheek's and ""Hang on"" 'cause we are gonna go!

Sweet. What winch are you puttin on it?

I've got a 9500 pound Superwinch. It also came with a two inch receiver mount that unless I f ck around with the Backbone I won't be using. It would be nice to have the winch available for the rear of the vehicle or to mount to a flat deck trailer for when I need to load up my Mini {When It won't run due to damage incured while thrashing it offroad.)
Maybe I'll just buy another small 2000 lbs. winch and re-mount itto my Mini for that. The one I had on it was a POS to begin with!
