That sadly never made it to the aftermarket. :(

(To my knowledge because if something like that DID, I'd have probably bought it by now. :D)

I'm 99% sure I saw some on Ebay about a month ago. I now can only find projector fog lights for the KJ.

Speak of the devil, I just saw a KJ today with some projector beam headlights...

So they're out there, just not the ones on the Liberator concept.

Great Thanks

Thanks Marlon, they must be real new addition to the aftermarket department. I'll keep looking too.

Very true they will not stand up to the rigors of snokeling and traversing rivers, but once you get used HID lighting, there's no going back to standard halogens.

When I find them, I will post a link to the seller for anyone interested.

Ciao.

good day,

I'll be looking at all the sites available as well to see if I can find the "Replacement head lamp units" And yes, HID would be awesome. There are several companies supplying HID 35 watt low beam capsules and a conventional Halogen (Xenon look) high beam bulb/fitting.

And now the kicker for me!

Jennifer saw the Projector beam fog lights on EBay as well!
She on the other hand didn't think that they were pricey for "Her Jeep"!!!
So she told me that they were going to be a "Just because" gift for our Jeep!

Man I love my wife!
She would rather get something for our Jeep than a dozen roses "that will ending up wilting and croaking"!

You can probably find replacement kits strictly for the bulbs, but you'll only have low-beams. But I know around here, aftermarket HIDs are illegal. Just FYI.

Aftermarket HIDs are illegal when used with Halogen reflectors. ;)

Well that's how I understand it for most places. There shouldn't be a problem if you use the proper projectors or reflectors.

Were lucky, we don't have that stipulation for "Non Halogen Reflectors" Etc.

I stumbled across this web one late night when I couldn't sleep! Their prices seem low enough to take a chance on one or two of the items that if it turns out that their stuff is ****, than so be it!

Socks their stuff is certainly cheap ,but bear in mind its from china so even if it says bosch or seimens or whatever on the box its a 99.99% chance its counterfeit.Just be careful any of their products dont fry your electrics. On the other hand lots of major brands products are made in china so they may be ok.

x2...probably break in a week. TJKJ (troy) has HID auxiliary lamps mounted on his ARB. I think they are made by KC HiLites.

I wouldn't be surprised either by the fact that they crap out in a week or that they nuke the vehicles electrical system (all the while during the melt down you get to see flaming dragons dancing around the head lamp units!)

I was checking out Ebay today and found H.I.D. replacement bulbs with ballasts, wiring loom etc., for as low as $25.00 US.

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...et&_trksid=p284.m183&_trkparms=its=S%2BI%2BSS

I wonder what their quality is like?
It's not like I'm cheap, but if a bargain can be had, then so be it!

Check out this guy and his Suzuki X-90 and how he made custom head lamps using 04 Cadillac XLR Bi-Xenon projectors!
Very impressive too say the least!

It's got me thinking.
