Few of questions for you guys....

1) Does the Frankie fit on most (or all) KJ's with no spring interference on OEM UCA's?

2) What's used in the rear for the extra height? There's got to be some kind of spacer used

Mildly considering making a "Frankie" with my 926/947's. Happy, love the ride, don't need to go higher but it looked even better before it sagged :D;)

Hmmmm - I just assumed to match the front height there'd be some extra stuff for the rear on a Frankie. Do they just ship OME948's and extended shocks for the rear?

I currently have:
Front - 3/8" Top Plate Spacer, OME926 (soon to have 3 ring clevis)
Rear - OME 947, 1 extra isolator (soon to be another extra isolator)

My thought was that I could ditch the top plate and go with the DIY frankie (.75" spacer, OME, Daystar top plate) and either a .25" top plate spacer or clevis. I know that seems excessive, but with the 926 I was thinking it would get me near an actual Frankenlift.

Sounds like I should just throw the clevis and extra isolators on and call it a day then?

Oh just park it where you normally do instead of the Beaubien Street side. It'll be fine and look much higher. :p

Ohhhh I can't wait for those springs and shocks. I'm going HD all around because I haul stuff in my Jeep a lot.

Haha - I am actually trying to get my **** into River East so I can stop paying. The girl I am "subletting" from took a direct-hire position (no longer works at the same company as me) up at SPO in Grand Blanc. So, the original deal was that I pay her the $60 a month for the pass, and when she returns to the Ren Cen she can get her pass back and keep the $60 a month rate. They were up to $120 a month last fall! They are now at $100 a month, but I heard I may be able to get into River East for free. I am all about saving $60-$100 a month (I am sure she'll get tired of cashing my checks and paying the bill), plus my lard ass could use the exercise walking to/from the building!

Anyway, on topic again - yeah, I think the HD's would have been better (yeah, yeah, you all told me). That being said, I am VERY happy with my 926/947's ride quality and it's immeasurably better than stock. Just wish it was a little taller. :D

stick those rusty's spacers back in.

Not gonna do it unless I have proper top plates, otherwise I just spent like $700 for it to ride like poo again.

By the way, WK's lookin' good. Saw you parked on the 3rd floor today.

here is an exploded view of a Frankenlift
you can see the spacers they use.
I was able to get everything but the springs and shocks from someone who did not like the Frankys ride
You must be registered for see images attach

Now with that said, you can use a 3/8 inch top plate, then 3 conduit nuts for a clevis and it will put you in the 22.25 to 22.50 range, or should, does with 927s but since you went small....
3 does it 4 will put you into some CV issues maybe depending....

Ah, thanks Tom - looks like they use a different (poly) upper isolator as well, probably due to the knurl bolt head.

Can't remember sold the lift ( that was with my last setup along with 500 lb OME 790s) but those parts are made just for AllJs , can't buy them by themselves

Hey Tom, I call All Js today and the lady. And they will sell the lower spacer by them self and top plates too. So if you get the parts you can add them to OEM 927 and make your own frankenlift:winner_third_h4h:

Can get the same amount of lift with top plate and clevis and not compress the springs . Cheaper as well

Absolutely right!!!!! That's why I order my top plates:icon_razz:
I figured that the sprigs won't last as long, right?
